We had a great first week of school! I wanted to share with you some of the activities from our first week together.
- We found our just right reading spots
- Read the story First Day Jitters and created our first class book about our first day feelings
- Sponge painted for our class color wall
- Made our name banners to go along with the book Chrysanthemum
- Began reading our first chapter book, Melvin Beederman
- Learned a new math game, Monster Squeeze
- Met all the 1st grade teachers
