Happy Dot Day

Getting ready to head down to our whole school morning meeting! 

Mr. Fosher gave us some dot trivia. Ask your 1st grader if he or she can remember how many dots are on an average ladybug! He also read us The Dot by Peter Reynolds.

Some SMS teachers and staff participated in the ice bucket challenge in the 'dot' shaped pools to support ALS.

We thought outside the box once again on Friday afternoon. Each student received a few black dots. They used their imagination and creative minds to create something all their own. These starfish are wonderfully artistic and are out of box thinkers! Here is a preview of a few of our dot creations!
