It was Election Day in the Starfish Classroom. We have been learning and reading many books about The President's job and imagining a life as President. We held a mock election in the classroom. We voted which Book Character would make the best President. We read books from both book characters this morning and shared campaign posters of each candidate.
We learned about voting booths, ballots, and ballot boxes. Here are pictures of your child's voting experience in first grade. If you are voting tomorrow, I know your first grader would love to join you in the booth to have a real voting experience.
