The eggsperiment part one
The kids are so excited to start our next experiment. February is dental health month so we decided to learn about the difference between healthy liquids and less healthy liquids for our teeth. We used white eggs and placed them in cherry kool-aid, water, 1% milk, and coca cola. The kids were excited to make predictions about the white eggs in the liquids. After about an hour, we pulled each egg to see what had happened. After observing the eggs and recording in our science journals, we were left wondering questions about other liquids. Tomorrow the kids want to see white eggs in Orange juice and orange soda. They also are interested to observe the difference between white and chocolate milk. The kids will also use tooth brushes and toothpaste to brush the eggshells to see how toothpaste and brushing affects our teeth.
