Here's what the starfish have been up to in April...
·Learned about the vowel teams – ee, ea, oa, and ie
·
Have a special visit from Megan from the New
Hampshire SPCA. She brought 5 Guinea Pigs and mice to share with the starfish
·
Learning about geometry- We are learning to attributes of 2D and 3D shapes.
·Played the missing addends game and Unlucky Seven
·
Read Scholastic NewsTrash. We learned
about the importance of the 3R's for our environment.
·Played Top-It with our fact triangles for practice
addition and subtraction facts.
·Sang the Solid Shape Song
·
Created self portraits
·
We played an Earth Day Game on the Smart
Board as a class
·Chose a book of interest to read with a partner
(Topics included sports, countries, animals, artists, hobbies, etc) to grow our
conversations about books
·Worked on creating our own Word Walls. We are
trying to hold them accountable for words such as does, said, because in all
writing.

Celebrated Chloe's 7th birthday.
